rules
short, because there are not many of them.
we're stopping new entries
no new bids, no top-ups. but the leaderboard stands till the end — every rank below is final, exactly as it was paid for. the rules below still describe how every rank on the board was earned.
01rank is total paid
Every payment a handle makes is added to that handle's running total. Rank is that total, highest first. It is cumulative, not last-bid-wins — a handle that paid $10.00 five times sits at $50.00, not $10.00.
Ties are broken by who got there first. If two handles hold the same total, the one whose first payment landed earlier ranks higher.
02taking a spot
To pass a row you must end up strictly above it — at least $1.00 more than its total. The board shows the exact number next to every row, calculated against whatever you have already paid.
You do not have to aim at #1. Paying less than the top still puts you on the board, in the position your total buys.
03amounts
Every payment starts at $1.00, first bid or top-up. A single payment is capped at $50,000.00.
The amount that counts is the full amount charged to your card, read from the payment webhook — tax included. The figure next to your handle is the gross number, so it matches the receipt you were sent.
This is deliberate. Sales tax and VAT differ by country, and ranking on the amount left after tax would mean two people paying exactly the same amount buy different amounts of rank depending on where they live. What you were charged is what you get credited.
04no refunds
Payments are final. There are no refunds, ever — not for being outbid, not for changing your mind, not for typing the wrong handle, not if the site shuts down.
Being passed by somebody who paid more is the product working as intended, not a fault.
05handles
Identity here is a handle plus the email you use at checkout. There are no accounts and nothing is verified — anyone can pay for any handle, including one that is not theirs. Links out of the board go through a counted redirect to the X profile with that name.
Each row shows how many of those clicks it has received and what it has paid per click. Obvious bots and link previews are excluded, but the number is a rough tally, not an audited ad metric — nobody is promised clicks, and nobody is refunded for a shortage of them.
If somebody paid to put your handle up and you want it gone, mail the address in the footer of the checkout receipt. It gets hidden. It does not get refunded.
06moderation
Rows can be hidden at our discretion, without notice and without a refund: illegal content, hateful content, harassment, impersonation for fraud, or anything that puts the payment processor at risk.
Hidden rows stop appearing on the board and stop counting toward anyone else's rank.
07not affiliated with X
xbid.lol has no affiliation with, endorsement from, or connection to X Corp. or any of its products. "X" and any handles displayed belong to their respective owners. This site uses no X API and displays no data from X beyond a public profile image.
08no guarantees
The board is a status game. It is provided as-is, with no promise of uptime, traffic, clicks, attention, or continued existence. Buying a rank buys a row on this page and nothing else.
